Put and take hunting...

    The difference with people stocking them now and when they were first brought over is that the birds from china were wild.

    Alright, I'm moving back to Iowa. I've been shooting pen raised birds all these years and didn't even know it. Thanks for ruining my dreams. :eek:

    Now, I know there are a lot of birds coming out to shooting preserves in SD for release, but this is the first time I have ever heard about releasing on public land. I am not sure I believe it. The state would have to buy them, and that would make news. May be wrong, but I doubt it.

    I personally know that ND Game and Fish does not do this anymore, since early 90's. Waste of time.

    I use the preserves to train in the off season and to introdue new people to hunting. I hate to take some one new out and walk for hours and kick up a few hens and never get a shot off. at the perserve.it can be as hot and heavy as you want it and you will always shoot birds
