Benelli makes two modular combs for the SBE in addition to the standard comb. The highest comb is for use with a scoped slug gun.

The other comb is used for raising targets like trap shooting or if you like a high shooting gun.

That is true, and I think that's what I said. :tu

As has been said, a raised rib does not necessarily raise POI. A raised rib also does not affect the pattern; patterns are affected by what's IN the barrel, not what's outside the barrel.

Most ALL ribs are tapered from high in back to lower at the muzzel so , if a rib is parallel to the barrel it should be shooting 50/50 to POI !
With a rib designed like this "IF" you raise the Comb (say) 1/8" it will raise the POI 4".....:yes

Not necessarily; POI primarily depends on the comb height (where your eye is).

A better way to suggest ( how to fit your gun ) Tuleman would be for you to read , Understanding Shotgun Stocks for better shooting , by Jeff Meloy !
He is very thurl in ALL the features of stock fitting !

It might even Help a , NV Ducker who ran away to MT......:l:l

If Meloy said this: "if a rib is parallel to the barrel it should be shooting 50/50 to POI", then you probably wasted your money on his book.
