by Ruth Sawyer Billard. Anyone interested in this classic book? I have a copy available. PM me if interested. This book was published over thirty years ago, but was well ahead of its time, for Ralph Morrill was very inventive. I worked for him at Yale's Peabody Museum where he was the chief preparatory and taxidermist, and always admired his work.He was always searching for new and better ways of doing things, and used to shrug off any compliments, saying, "Heck, I find these ways because I am lazy, not because I am inventive." Besides his breakthroughs in using resins in fish taxidermy he was one of the first to use freeze drying in bird taxidermy.
