Recent trends of HUGE blind bags

    Toboggan is what many folks call a sled. First time I heard my buddy from MS use the term the way you use it I was confused too.

    He means a beanie/stocking hat Billie Bob

    I'm guilty of a big blind bag. I bring my backpacking stove and make coffee/lunch. Plus water and all the regular stuff. I do bring extra clothes. Usually don't need them but nice when you do.

    An occasional hunter to grace our blind brings a truly huuuuge blind bag. I picked it up once and darn near got a bilateral hernia. No idea where he got it but I've never seen another like it.

    I have a buddy who packs spare set of clothes. I always thought of it as a bit of over-preparedness, until about 4 years ago when he and another buddy dumped their canoe while we were hunting a swamp off the Pamlico River.

    I'd never take mt dew on any hunt. That stuff to me is more like mountain spew. Anyway I have yet to purchase a blind bag however I really want to. All I've got a the moment is a camelbak.
