Recipe for Pheasant, Chukar, Duck, or Goose or any Fowl!

    3/4 pound of cooked penne pasta
    3 1/2 cups of cooked fowl of your choice
    1 1/4 cups of milk
    1 Can 10 3/4 oz of Condensed Cream of Mush soup
    1 Cup shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    4 oz of sliced fresh mushrooms diced
    1 clove garlic minced
    1 tablespoon chicken boullion paste or 1 tsp of chicken boullion granules.
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp dried thyme
    1/2 tsp sage
    1 Tblsp margarine or butter
    1 cup of thinly sliced celery
    1/2 cup green pepper chopped
    1/2 cup red pepper sweet chopped
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 cup crushed potato chips

    Heat oven to 350 and spray a 13X9 casserole dish with nonstick veggie spray and set aside. In skillet over med-low heat brown to medium your meat in some butter with a couple shakes of Mrs. Dash and some Tony Cachere cajun shake. Prepare penne pasta and drain and put in a large mixing bowl along with the meat, milk, soup, cheese, mushrooms, boullion, pepper and thyme and sage, and mix really well.

    In another skillet melt butter over medium heat and add celery, onion, green and red pepper and a shake of mrs. dash and cook for about 3-5 mins until tender. Add this to the mixing bowl mixture and mix well.

    Put all this into the 13x9 dish and cover evenly with crushed potato chips and bake for 35 mins til topping is golden brown or mixture is bubbly. Let it set for 5 mins then serve.

    This is good for pheasant, chukar, quail, duck, goose, all birds I have ever tried were excellent in this.
