    with an 55# Recurve bow?
I'm thinking that a wrist style would spread the pull over larger muscle mass.

    Thanks.

If shooting a recurve I would use fingers. Less to go wrong and good tension on your fingers will promote a clean release.

I second using a glove or finger tab. If you're shooting correctly, you shouldn't be holding at full draw more than a couple seconds. I assume you're shooting instinctive and not using sights.

I agree, shoot with a glove or bare fingers. I shoot a 50# recurve with no glove and shoot about 20 arrows daily. The month before season I shoot up to 100 shots daily. Your fingers get tough if you shoot much and your release becomes smooth.
