I've been looking at mylar to cut some reeds from and haven't found what I am looking for. The stuff I've found is almost tan in color and feels similar to the material Echo uses. However my CWF & lares reed material is different.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction of where to get quality reed material?

Just buy reeds already made...cut and trim to your liking and be done with it.
    Alot less hassel !
If short reeds, grab some different widths,
play around with them and if you prefer shaved reeds, do that yourself also :yes

I would but they are significantly more expensive that way.

Check out your local fabric store, I’ve bought Mylar there before.

EBay is where I find sheets.

I’ve also bought from dealers online before but can’t remember the name. Most hobby stores don’t carry thick enough Mylar

You are correct that RM mylar is different than other as it is. Yes it is .010 mylar but my mylar is more costly as its machine properties are different.
I do sell tuning kits if that helps.

Thank you, I'm looking forward to it. I'll be buying an Alpha tomorrow.
