    Brought our equipment up to the camp Sat and did some scouting. Lots of birds resting on our lease and lot of dry land around so if you have water you will have birds. Saw plenty of mixed specie for this time of year. Good luck to all for the opener.

    And then came the monsoon Sunday, and everyone has water. At least more of it.
    One farm near me that has had thousands of birds for 3 weeks is now empty.

    Hunted Fri, Sat and Sunday of opening weekend. Friday great but Sat and Sunday slowed down drastically. Warm weather also did not help. Friday limits were some of the nicest in years. Will be back out there later this week.:cool:
