Windy Conditions made shooting tough on Saturday, during the one day competition, but the Georgia Boys brought home their limit of 15 roosters to win the hunt. In second place was the BD Roosterbusters with 12, and the Plains Equipment team was third with 10. There were eight new teams this year, and all reported seeing good numbers of birds. This year we were pleased to have Lt. Gov Rick sheehy hunt on the Nebraska Team. Col David Sankey of the Ne State Patrol on the VIP team. Dave Butz a retired NFL football player on the NRA team. There were several competitive shooters also, Bill McGuire (National Champion Sporting Clays SHooter) Jon Kruger, and Craig Bohannon. Micheal Thomas a renowned artist also participated on the VIP team. More information can be found on the website at www.nebraskaonebox.com

Looks like an interesting event, but the information seems vague on the details. How does the event work? Do you all hunt together in a group, or do you hunt seperately and try to get as many birds as you can for the team? Are these wild birds, or a planted hunt free-for-all?

I would have to assume the latter, as there are 8 team members with a 15 bird limit? Looks like fun, and congrats.:tu
