Wrestler, myself and 3 other guys went northeast of Greeley and shot 14. The geese really decoyed great. All the shots were withing 25 yards and in the decoys ..We would have had our limit but the pressure was on to get one more bird...We had at least a 100 circling 60yrds from us when 5 fat geese, 20 yrds in front, dropped the landing gear....They told me to take the shot.

Bang.....jam...jam.....F...ck......and the gun went flying out of the pit. No bird!!!

Oh well it was a great day..pics to follow when we get the film developed

    Good luck this weeken..

A Benelli would jam up worse than the Browning. HAHA! That is the 1 bad thing about hunting out of pits. All the frickin dirt! Well Gooch had to stay home and cuddle with his wife today so I took my dad and 2 buddies out and had our 4 man limit by 8:30. We hunted North of Greeley and there is an *** load of geese. Still a ton of small birds. I don't think we need the BBB's, we could probably get away with 4's, but it is fun to knock em around a little.

I know there are other guys out hunting besides us. We limited out today before 10:00 and went to Bruces to have a few pops and watched the Broncos beat the crap out of KC. Well not limited we were 1 bird short of a limit. We finally shot some big geese. Has anyone been in Bruces and seen the biggest goose last week was 14 lbs. That is a big fickin bird. It looks like Gander de Bander shot a big one today also. It is almost as big as the young goose hunter in the pic. Way to go guys.
