Big Sky Country life is rough-view from our back deck over the east pasture

Wow, that’s almost like the view from my back deck, with some trees strategically placed so our neighbors can’t look directly into our master bedroom... oh no, I guess it’s not quite the same as your view, but at least I could hear my next door neighbors taking a shower while I was taking a shower this morning, before I jump into Silicon Valley traffic to go to work...:doh

I really can’t wait to get out of here, somebody will hopefully write us a nice check in 6-7 years since we’re 2 miles from Apple headquarters, and Montana is on the list of options.

    Never been there,
Isn't Montana the place where the winter is 9 month and if one has a foreign accent he is not going to be served at restaurants or local stores?
    paradice indeed... I want ..

My own times in MT are limited to whatever is visible from I-15 during trips to and from Alberta. One of the more striking sights is the lighted statue on the mountain just east of Butte. From the freeway it looks like a giant statue of Darth Vader, but I'd doubt that's what it is.

It is Our Lady of the Rockies...the virgin Mary. Butte is a very Irish and very Catholic town.

Don't judge all of MT on what you see going up I-15 from Idaho to Alberta. I mean, it is pretty and it is wide open but not representative of all the different topographies of that great state.

Foreign accents are usually heard by tourists bringing money. They are gladly served.
