You get it! It is what many others have said prior. The change will have to come from work done at the state level. Every time I hear or see people in a worship mode for a Pres candidate I have asked them what they are doing locally or in the state. Most times nothing! Then they wonder why things do not change!

During our last election cycle, at the Rep state Convention it was very clear going in who the party leaders wanted to run for open state offices. What came out was candidates that fit a much more conservative view. They went on to win on the state level and now one of them is seeking to head to Washington as our elected Rep.

Again though the old guard is pushing someone else, and I am inclined to think that the results will be the same as last time. That is the involvement that is needed. Not the attitude of taking their ball home if their guy does not get the nod and then hiding away until the next Pres election!

A Ron Paul presidency would send alot of the federal government current role and resposibilities back to the states to spead up this "revolution" of which you speak of that needs to happen. If we continue to elect the person with the newest, latest, greatest, and most grand plan we will continue down the path of debt, high taxes, less freedom, and minimal results. Keep in mind the Huntsman vote goes to Paul, more than likely, if he is not in the race. Looks like its down to Romney (establishment) vs. Paul (anti establishment). National polls have Romney and Paul winning against Obama. Paul has the money and fortitude to go the distance. One way or another he will have a say in the nomination.

Keep in mind Obama wants to face Romney as Obama will paint him as a Wall Streeter, ultra rich, silver spoon, country club Republican vs. the blue collar working man. This will play right into his class warfare agenda and divisive tactics.

Actually a RP presidency would do none of that. He would need Congress to enact legislation to do so, and I don't see RP and Congress getting along too well (regardless of what party holds power).

You know what? Then strike back. Obama's wife was making over $300,000 in a do nothing job where her main accomplishment included finding out a way to turn down medical care to people who didn't have insurance... an effort spear headed by Axelrod. Someone needs to ring the "blue collar" votes bell and ask them why they continuely believe a millionaire with a "D" who's literally never had a real job in his life knows how to fight for real jobs for them?

Not to mention his questionable associations and shady past.

But ignore all that and there's still PLENTY of material.

No no no... you're wrong. According to one of RP's biggest supporters here: RP will use exective order, DUH!
Of course RP believes exective orders are unconsitutional. But that's besides the point because 2012 RP is his 2008 Obama and that's all that matters.

    1. Again, a Paul presidency is not a miracle. What, poof, executive orders that he's against using are suddenly implemented to 'bring back responsibility to the states'? How would that work exactly? Or is it that him being in the WH suddenly changes the character and interests of the vast majority of Congress and they would now magically care about such?

    2. I'd like to see those polls.

Minus some very real foreign policy concerns, I'm all for it, make no mistake. But it wouldn't result in the kind of changes you mention. It could start them, but it's gonna take some serious time....which we may not have.
