L.Berggren - If you open to adopting a 40 year old, let me know. That place is awesome.
I've hunting with just about every pit lid there is. I hate duracover, it not safe on the eyes. Rollers work but get hung up a lot on corn stalks and over time don't roll as well. Flip lids work fairly well but you're shooting at flaring birds when you come out of da' hole. Bundling corn stalks work well unless you hunting a plowed field, most fields in MN are plowed.
Nice setup! Looks like a great husker game you had on.
Full Force Five: I have two sons 35 and 30. If the decision comes up to add more you will have to follow 10 Gauge [I believe in Utah]. He has asked also!!!
Gutpile: Didn't catch that there was a commerical on the Big tube:
How about a slice of Prime Rib fresh out of the oven to start kick off!
No body went away hungry
can i just come down for a weekend and check out your set up. i would even swap you out a hunt.
Maybe I'm missing it but that pit will never be complete without a stripper pole...
NeLab: I could be receptive to a traded hunt at some point.
Marbleye: Your not the first to add a pole, I'm kind of partial to my boys and grandkids in the pit. Thanks for the sugguestion!
I've been looking for a small apartment to rent north of kansas for a 3 month lease with scenic views.......Is your pit available for a live in house maid!!! :s
The only "pole" that blind is missing is the barrel of my 12ga! that blind is awesome
