    Good Morning Goose/Duck Chasers,

Back from our first outing to Saskatchewan (North of Regina, Watous Area). Fun time and had the chance to meet our Canadian friends, I did notice that we are all getting older, I will have birthday 71 this December, need to bring younger Goose Chasers to put out equipment.

Super dry, most of the smaller marsh areas dry with low water in the larger marshes. Warm sunny weather.

Snow Geese coming in each day with lots of ducks and Cranes in the area. Grid roads dry with heavy dust on the drive. Were able to drive into all of the fields.

Noticed that Soy-beans in many of the fields along with Canola (cash crop) being planted and less peas and wheat.

Note today, they are getting heavy rain and 20+ wind.

Heading back on October 21, 2017 for another 10 days, someone has to do it.

Nice report! Safe travels back. Looking forward to your next report. Heading to devils lake nod oct 25-30. I'm sure it'll be too early, but we have to have an early migration one of these years

I spoke to a farmer in the area a week or so ago who also told me he planted quite a bit more beans this year, but then followed up saying he wont be planting them again next year.

    MrMallerd,

You are welcome, plenty of room in the promise land to chase birds and meet some great people.

We smashed the whites the last 3 days. Limit shoots for our group ( 4 guys ) in a few hours everyday. Today was SUPER fast. 80 in less than 90 minutes.

Where abouts? Not looking for exact location just general idea, heading to DEvils lake in 14 days, so I'm thinking I'll bring my snow spread.

Ive noticed the same thing on guides facebook pages in Saskatchewan. They are smashing them daily and in short order. Sounds like it is amazing right now. Seems lately they stay im canada well into november so who knows when they will show up in north dakota.
