Just a little something I thought everyone here would be interested in. Courtesy of Crowbusters.com;)

Some are saying that the crow populations right now are the highest they have ever been. Do your part in waterfowl conservation; kill a crow! ;) :D

P.S. For all you grouse shooters, crows are directly responsible for the demise of 4.5% of the grouse population every year.

I get a couple dozen a year.I think the West Nile threat is keeping some from doing it.

That had to be the most fun i've ever had, when everything else was closed they were open.We used to shoot them right beside the dump ,they would come off at around noon heading back to the nests in 2's and 3 's . We had a loudspeaker with a tape recording of several crow distress CAWS and about 12 full body dekes.. that brings back lots of great memories, too bad all the environs. got into it and closed all the area around to discharge of firearms ,now they are wondering what to do with the Problem:l :l :l

pretty much got em all shot off up here. lotsa reavens though. It's winter though, so there'll be some come back in late winter/early spring. We get a good bunch every year, and it's great practice.
