I am looking at the Saxis area on Google maps. It looks like it SHOULD be a good place to hunt, but not sure what that means.

Do any of you have experience hunting in that area?

    Thanks,
    David

I like to do that as well. Hoping to retire by next summer, would like to go exploring up some of those creeks. I have liked to do that since I was a kid. SOmetimes it's hard to find guys my age (70) who like to do that, too.

Why you looking for 79 year olds to push pole creeks? Get some youngens and let them do all the work. Sit back with an adult beverage.

Heard a lot of stories about hunting there years ago. It was like the Wild West.

That's a good idea but the youngsters are either lazy, playing video games, or raising babies (my son). Usually Alex is game for all this, but he has a 1 year old baby now. Not so free any more!
