Safety, return to the beach in solid order.
Enjoy each minute as much as possible.
Hopefully my son will decide to come along this year, its always been an option but not going to push it.
Enjoy my company in the blind, and let them take the first shots.
    Scull more birds this.
    Lroger

Dial in the game more with boat blind near home.
Keep the dog in good order, no injuries.
Focus on good table birds, not so much sausage breasts. I did pretty well with this last year.
I would love to hunt somewhere new, we'll see how that goes.

Your post made me think and remember (as my wife would say, quite a feat in and of itself)… I killed my first duck on opening day in 1978... Greenwing teal... My dad took three boxes of .410 shells, and I had two shots left when I killed it... (Unfortunately, I still have days like that on occasion and they are not remembered nearly as fondly)

Next morning, I killed a hen pintail on the first shot, and three more birds besides as the hunt progressed.

I'll be happy if I can create a few memories for myself, family, and friends in the field this season... Heck, I'll be happy if I can get out this year, half as much as in past years....

I'm late to the party here but wanted to add my goals too.

Try and get the bill on my hunting hat as flat as possible.
Find a 32 inch barrel for my awesome Stoeger 3500 so I can add a few more barrel stickers.
Break my side mirror on my lifted diesel truck (I don't actually tow anything) by hanging a massive strap of ducks from it.
Have a severely bruised chest all season long from thumping it repeatedly.
Figure out a way to mount 2 more gopros from my hat, gun or upper body.
Leave as much macho garbage in the tank for the next guy as possible. Beer cans, dip cans or at the very least the lids, macho beef jerky, Swisher wrappers, and 75 empty 3.5" Hypersonic BB hulls. So they know someone serious hunted there.
Go to the plug in every single up I have.

    Have a great season guys!!
