Looks like Seattle is trying to decide whether or not to shoot themselves in the foot (or feet). They are looking at increasing business taxes to a degree, that like California, will likely push business away.

I have read passages that state Seattle is claiming that Amazon is attempting to "hold Seattle hostage" with their threats of leaving... When what Amazon is doing, is looking out after their business interests...

The profound stupidity of what are generally considered educated politicians is sometimes baffling...

the homeless rate will go down during the next presidential election when the liberal billionaires fund them to protest, loot and raise hell.

Usually the person who owns the company is, the workers not so much !!
That's why California is protecting the Illegals, the state would shut down if they didn't have them to do most of the work.

None of the people I know work in the residential trades.

From the article, "A strong economy can also be dysfunctional"

That sounds like an accurate assessment.

The world's fifth or sixth biggest economy is still booming, despite their politics.
