    Pretty much what I expected. Proves once again (at least in my mind) that a private sector job beats a public sector job hands down (except at pension time :eek: )

    I just hope they don't ban reverse mortgages. That's my savings plan :cry (oh and the lottery :dv )

    You don't have chillrens so a reverse mortgage may be perfect for you. You should plan it so you sputter across the finish line on the same day your bank statement says, "0.00" :tu

    Free people and free enterprise win every time.

    However, I will say that Indian Health service would've paid for my school, 20 yr. half pay retirement, and free healthcare at their facilities. So, I could've been looking at half pay retirement at 45 and work on the side when I want to. Needless to say, I went another direction.........................Don't ask!:z
