    Hi all,
I'm traveling to the Rockland area in two weeks and I'm hoping to do a little fishing from shore in the mornings or when the tide is favorable. Curious as to what species would be worth targeting this time of year and what methods produce.
    Thanks for any info

Water temps can be iffy in June, as to whether or not stripers will be there in any numbers yet. ocean fishing from shore, that's probably what you're looking for. I don't know of any B&Ts in that neck of the woods, but am sure there must be one. Find it online and call them ahead of time. Good luck.

Mackerel & Pollack should be around, possibly a Striper or two. I don't fish up that way, so I don't know of any tackle shops. Try Google, it may help.... have a good time!
