looking at either of these and perhaps any other camera that I'm not aware of. The clarity of the Replay XD is great, as alot of us have viewed Warren's videos on here. He clips his camera to the underside of his cap and does an outstanding job videoing. The only drawback to this is I'm very partial to a sock hat when I hunt. I also looked at the ShotKam. I like them alot and they mount to the underside of your barrel. I shoot an Auto 5 12 mag, and was wondering if the barrel moving would affect video quality?

I would think the replay could be barrel mounted as well, with the proper mount?

Do you think the barrel moving backwards with each shot, would interfere the quality of the footage?

Does the ShotKam have the red dot or crosshairs programmed into the video or, is that edited in later?

Shotkam has about a 20-22 degree FOV and is tight, so you will only get the bird that you are shooting at in camera. The replays run from 60 to 120 degrees. The ideal I think is around 50-60, which gives a more "natural" view. The Go-Pros and others with the 170 degree FOV make everything look a mile away. Best case scenario is to have a shotkam on the gun and a replay under the cap, and you could edit the videos to show the close up along with the "big picture". In my opinion of course.
