    Taking the long view.

    Loss of population.

    Infrastructure trashed.

    Have property values declined?

    What do you folks think?

Don't plan to live there. But if I do move there, yes.

I spent 6 weeks there restoring what was left of their electric grid. People are living on top of each other rolling black out and not to mention the poverty level. Me personally would not ever care to go back and I would not even think about purchasing any house or land wouldn’t be long before it was trashed by squatters and stripped of all values. But hey it’s not my money. I would probably just buy me some land in south Fl.

I've got a charming 4/3 on 5acres in Southern Mogadishu you can buy for around $10k.
    It's got a bunker.

    I'd look at Vieques.
In fact, I am looking at Vieques.
Infrastructure wasn't great there to begin with. Part of what makes it nice.

Ok. But you’re still going to want to at least check your property after hurricanes to survey the damage.
