Neighbor(also retired) down the street drove the river corridor from Glenn's Ferry to Nyssa one day this week. Didn't see squat for birds. But, we're always(almost) hopeful! Still too warm in Alberta.

Where are you getting your forecast? The 10 day has one night in the the 20's (28), highs in the 50's, most lows in the upper 30's. I like your optimism but I see absolutely nothing in the forecast that spells new ducks for MT and ID.

Having been up there two weeks ago, I can tell you, there are lots of 'warm weather' ducks still there. Lots of teal and spoonies. I was really shocked.

Looking at the the Intellicast forecast for Calgary it doesn't look good. Alberta didn't get the big storm that hit east of there 2 1/2 or 3 weeks ago. Things are just 'ducky' up there. Not good for us. Still lots of birds in Central Manitoba. The Minnesota guys are still waiting for a migration for example. At least our season just got going. We have time...I hope!

29 degrees at my house yesterday morning. This weekend may be the first of many!
