Such the optimist! Saw a picture of 3 limits of Teal shot in Saskatchewan a few days ago!! I guess they will just move at some point because it's what they do. I love it when we get a huge arctic storm on years like this. It makes for an amazing day or 2 of migration watching!

I shot GW teal last week in northern MB. We have no freezing temps in sight for next 8 days (Nov 13th) so sheetwater and rivers are wide open. Photoperiod birds have left but mallards and Canada geese will be here for awhile.

63 in Edmonton next week. No temps below freezing in the 10 day. The local birds need reinforcements, they're getting wore out!!

I won't be going back out for at least two weeks... maybe three. It's way too warm and there are few birds! No hope looking to the Alberta forecasts. Oh what a beautiful Fall. Yup, sarcasm!!!!!!

still no birds yet... even the guys with private backwater say it has been bleak... we have been taking advantage of the warm weather and have been scratching out a few ducks and then been putting the hurting on the carp... we even found some in some warm water springs spawning a little...lol...
