Yeah i heard UV vision paint is a must have out there.
the snow fox.
impressive spread from the photos ive seen. Im sure they do pretty good with a spread like that. $300 a man per day. Never met him or hunted there just talking about what I have seen.
If'n you shoot a band you best be ready to hand it over to the snow fox! Thats just bad business if you ask me.
I just saw a pic with the snow fox's boy with another band...
I'll say this without a jealous bone in my body...I've seen a lot of snow geese die, for very few bands. Even when I was a kid and killed them by the truckload by creeping...
The ol' snow fox must have something figured out.
I'd be interested at the band to bird ratio that some of the guys here on the forum that have been doing this for a decade or two (or three for a few)...
Guys like Eaton or Toye: What have you guys documented?
I'd say mine has been 1 for 600-1000.
In the spring we are about 1 band per 200 birds killed since a good % are adults. In Canada 1 maybe in 400-500 due to all the juvies.
I'm not sure, but I think "posse" has replace the word "crew"
Show Me shoots so many bands because the only use decoys with bands on them and it attracts banded snows
Last season was 1 for every 250 with 13 in NW MO alone.
I've hunted both and do not agree with you at all !
I've heard.....the customer service is about a 3 on a scale of 1-10!
