I am in the market for a new decoy backpack, my current splash ultimate backpack and decoy bag combo is not holding up well to the wear and tear of the marsh. I am looking at the slotted decoy backpack made by Avery and it looks nice, I also see that Rig em Right makes a decoy backpack but it looks a little big. Any thoughts on either of these bags or others that have worked well and held up to the abuse.

    Much appreciated,
    Cocklebur

I see Banded also makes a 12 slot decoy backpack. I too am interested in hearing reviews of the 12 slotted decoy backpacks.

Well I ordered the Avery slotted decoy backpack, identical to the Banded as mentioned above. Should come in soon. Review to follow.

Be sure to let us know first impression and how it lasts through the season. Read a review where stiching started coming off after only two hunts.

I bought the Banded bag on clearance at Cabela’s a couple years ago. I’m a newbie duck hunter so can’t compare it to any others. I like it though, as did two coworkers who bought their own after seeing mine. $50 at end of season was hard to pass up. One place we hunt we walk about 3/4 mile in. It works for me.

After taking the bag out on a few hunts now the quality seems decent. Much better than most bags on the market as it should be for the $110 price tag. The bag is comfortable and holds everything I need. In a perfect world the two spinning wing decoy bags would have buckles to make sure nothing pops out while walking out, but overall its a decent pack.
