Any tips or tricks for lures/techniques? I have fished Large Mouth Bass my entire life and I am going to VA in July and staying on the Shenandoah. What lures do I use?

    JULY:
Ultra light rod and reel, and Rebel lures!!
    Crickett grasshopper or bumblebees
Your arms will be plum wore out by end of the day. Get a tire tube for hauling your food and drink and wade or float yourself.. I will tell you, you will start a new summer tradition!!
I haven't done it since getting married but it was some of the most fun!!
Those little red eye bass attack a rebel lure like a 40 lb rockfish, they are fun!!

Post plenty of pics when ya get back!!

So small lures basically. I have caught one smallmouth in WV and it was about the size of a coffee mug and it fought like crazy!

I was going to use a small crawfish colored spinnerbait, but I will buy a cricket as well.

I was using trout lures (Inline Spinners) and I caught one Smallmouth and the rest were Trout.
