Back in about 80, or 81. I worked at a BBQ restaurant in College Station, Texas. one morning, I was mopping the dining room floor, and a guys starts tapping on the (locked) front door. I open it, and they says he has Earl Campbell sitting in his car, and he wants to come ing for breakfast. We normally didn't serve breakfast, but I let them in, and stared cooking breakfast for them. Dude ate 3 dozen fried eggs, a couple of pounds of bacon, and a couple pounds of brisket???..I've never seen anyone eat like that.

    Callinfowl,

In Paris you can get big orders of marrow bones for lunch or dinner at the sidewalk cafes. Absolutely delicious with some fresh bread to sop up the juices. Bad for the heart but who wants to miss anything that good.

When I was young I was a cross country runner. I ran 13 miles a day from high school through college. I weighed 135 pounds. I was eating a minimum 5 to 6 thousand calories a day and sometimes still losing weight. I would come in from running and polish off half a pecan pie and a quart of milk before dinner. My sister's hated waching me because they were always on diets.
