Anyone shooting them yet this year?
Never caught or shot any. But me n a buddy r planning on a trip or to fishing for em this year
Nanticoke/blackwater complex is loaded with them, as is the wicomico. Go gettum!
By the way, no ditch, stream or marsh is too small or shallow for them.
Yea I seen a few big fish break water while sika hunting fishing bay off the nanticoke. I was kinda thinking of starting there first cause I'm familiar with it.
Wicomico is close to my parents might dapple there to.how far up the river u think would b good to start.
the marshes around pemberton park are very good. at high tide fish waaaay up in the grasses. the like shallow weeds more than docks and stuff. all the creeks are good too. again, nothing is too small or shallow to try to fish.
Thanks for the tip. Never been that far up. Have to investigate.
Are these fish a threat to ducklings, i.e. Blackducks, and at what point is action taken?
What Wicomico? St. Mary's County?
Can't comment on the duck idea, but there is no limits on them recreationally or commercially (5-8$ lb dock value- know you are a commercial guy) they taste great go catch as many as you can or want.
