Went to the ole cattle tank this morn, passed on some black jacks and saw a handful of gadwall. We have been having some pretty decent success in our dried up little hole, however with that front that came in...birds seemed to go with it.

Any of y'all experiencing anything similar, or having success?

You never know how a front is going to treat you. If you don't have ducks, the front can load you up. But on the other hand if you have ducks then the front will sometimes blow them out. Typically they head down to the coast but they will be back when the wind turns around from the south.

With the weather and tank being a fraction of its size...it has really threw a wrench in our local hunting. How has your season been AvianQuest?
