    Any day I expect to hear some flocks over my office coming down the Coast Flyway.
    It signals me it is time to paint decoys.

    was out on the McCloud Flats today (east of Mt Shasta) and saw my first flock of the year flying over headed south. It's starting!

    Haven't heard any at my house. Couple very low flocks of Sandhills Saturday and Sunday morning.

    I Just saw the sandhills dropping in from a mile or so high on the 15th. I usually see some specks on the 1st, none yet.

    Saw 25 specks fly over Richvale yesterday And so it begins.
