Spit grooves on toneboard

    I’m interested to see how it works out for you, I’m a spitter and they certainly help me. I usually don’t have any trouble clearing it out with a few quick bursts of hot air, but I have noticed that I can run a call with the grooves for a longer period without any negative impacts to the performance.

    They've worked fine. I've been making my own calls and a couple would hang up on occasion from too much moisture. Like I said earlier, I have a CWF from Stump that has spit grooves machined into the tone board. I found the right bit for my dremel and put them in mine. I haven't had one hang up since.
