    I would spot from my truck just looking over fields and such. Getting out near homes is nuts! Some folks will shoot at you thinking you are poaching or stealing, if they do not know you. Getting out and walking near someones house is rude and I would be mad too.

    It is outlawed in AR, don't know about other states......

    I know I haven't missed anything not being able to spot light.............

    Spot lighting is against the law here in Mississippi. Thats a good thing, could you imagine a bunch of red necks in an old truck flyin over the backwoods hanging on to the bumper with a spotlight and a rifle.................:D
