We had a group that quit at 1:00 with 169, the guide pretty much cleaned all of them and then proceeded to hunt until 5:00 killing another 55 by himself. I had a goup of 6 including 2 twelve year olds. Not one of the guys had an extension and by the end of the day were only shooting once if at all due to headaches! Ended with 214, easily could've been 400+. Never took more than 10 out of a flock. Had another field near me with 276, and another with 128. The fields too the north killed 18 and 70. For us the shooting started right at shooting time and there was rarely a break of more than 10 minutes throughout the day.

What did you guys end up with?

195 with 110 the first 3 hours and 4 guys left and the other 3 and myself killed the other 85 in the next 3 hours. The guys said if they knew they were that close to 200 they would have shot 1 more flock. We cleaned birds and watched flock after flock fall into the decoys for the next 2 hours before we left the field.
Agreed if we would have started at shooting time and better shooting could have easily been close to 400.
Our biggest rain out was like 11 or 12. LOL but what a day

How are you getting your clients to start at 9 and 11. I've never had that.

It was their last day and they hated the cold and requested it. The other party were not clients but film crew and owner.

Here is one from our recent trip to Canada. Three groups of dark geese at the head of the spread and the legs went out 80-90yds from the hunters. I put what I call pretty boys out front at 30 yds(GHG FFD specs and canadas). We also run about 40 fliers. Geese seemed to like it we got 104 by 10:30 for 4 guys. Best day of the trip and the last hunt of the trip.
