I've been watching the snow line and it is only opening up into western SK and AB, I have a pretty good handle on where some huntable birds are but am not wanting to travel that far west or south right now, if I can come up with a few more along with the pair at the zoo it might be worth the trip to Charleswood ;)

We got a good 6 inches of snow here overnight, what a mess!

    Marty,

Bread crumbs and baby strollers seem to work real well, I did some scouting on them this week....

weather warming up now....should be some leading edgers making their way in a day or two.

Went for a drive yesterday and there is a little bit of sheetwater compared to last year.....not much snow south of #1

I told the kids the easter egg hunt may take place in the middle of a field this year. Put them in white cover suits and turn them loose.

I will have lots of hiding spots to boot.:sp

Saturday I will be up to my knees in slop I hope!

Bit the bullet and postponed this weeks hunts for a few days. Not willing to take good money from clients until the birds start up. Should be soon but the main push is quite a ways off yet.
