Jerry, I was wondering when someone was going to bring that up. :clap I didn't because I figured I would get elected. Since YOU did......:dv

Naww, I know, you've done your part. :tu I think Howard's right, Jacksonville is the most centrally located as far as I can see. Who do we know that lives close to there that can take the reigns this year? Paging Leland!!! :dv

I called the Jacksonville club today and ask about useing them for the shoot in June.

Dates...the 6...13...27...are open ,but the 20 he has the Il. Clay Shoot there.

    Price....$30 per 100 clays

While he said he had not much to offer in the way of food there he did have a bar pit we could use.

As in the past food seem to work out by itself for us.:yes

I like the June the 13 for the shoot.

    What do you all think??????

Anything but the 6th. Have to defend against the Bartonville Taliban.

    Jacksonville sounds cool.

I don't mind helping/ co helping. We have done this enough to set up the spot, post it and rock & roll.

According to the Illinois Sporting Clays Association shoot schedule, Jacksonville has a shoot on June 7th. It doesn't show the 20th at all. We'll have to make sure that it's ok for us to be there the 6th if he a registered shoot the next day. He might have a lot to do to get ready.

There's a shoot scheduled there in March. Might be a good time for me to take a road trip and see how the club is since I've never been to it. Anyone ever shot this course? We need to see what facilities he has as far as a shelter and maybe power for any crock pots (not crack pots) and all.

Thanks Howard for calling him. You da man. :tu

1...I called them back and the 20 th is out.

I like the 13 th because it will be 2 or 3 weeks after out south shoot and that will give us some time to get over our blue shoulders and Jerry will be able to come to the shoot as on the weekend of the 6th he will be working for the Il. state guard.

3...they have a club house we can use and and plug ins for the crock pots.

I don't see anything wrong with the 13th, Howard. Thanks for checking with him.
