More outrageous stuff!! Don't get me going on spring hunts!!! All the work we do to save birds, increase habitat, not shoot hens etc.... and people go out and shoot them 24/7 and take their eggs... give me a break!!

Well thats nothing new it been legal for three years. I have called the dumb @$$es at the USFWS and complained MANY a times to no avail. The crap that goes on in this state to protect certain peoples hertiage is unbeliveable. I'm a W.A.S.P. so when do I get to practice my heritage.

I was in the USFWS office last year when a call came in asking if they could use rifles, the officer did not know if they could or not, I was going nuts!!!

Can't we just send the folks up in those areas some frozen chickens. Those of us south of you will be glad to pitch in!

I was in Tanana a couple years ago during the "subsistence" hunt. An incredible abuse of the system. I should have taken pictures. Involved truck loads of geese (honestly truck loads) that sat there for two days. I'm sure that this type of stupidity isn't across the board and doesn't apply just to subsistence hunts, but it was bad to see. We have a subsistence problem in this state, State and Feds need to work it out.

The chicken idea has some merit.

I am sure we could manage a compromise that included tradition ans supplementation.

I am *positive* we could get truckloads of eggs, chickens, and turkeys sent up there.

I cannot believe this. Something has to be done to change this.
