Interesting. The US Embassy staff in Cuba have been ordered to leave Cuba "because of a mysterious series of what it called “specific attacks” that have caused myriad health problems to 21 U.S. diplomats."

The State Department issued an advisory for Americans not to visit Cuba, although no tourists or other travelers have been affected by the still-unexplained attacks that some experts suspect came from an acoustic device. The embassy, an iconic building on Havana’s waterfront, also will suspend processing U.S. visa applications.

What could it be? Could Cuba be playing Hillary's shrieks thru loudspeakers causing US Embassy Staff to go in to convulsions?

Too many microwave listening devices merging into a harmonic sonic death ray.

Probably just some dope in the basement pumping out 30 watts of EM instead of .3.

You never know Cuba might be getting either Russian or Chinese hardware similar to ours and testing it.

I had a sat controller have me peak up at 200+ watts on a bird once. It was a mobile terminal. He wasn't monitoring the right freq. It was beautiful on my oscope, right up until the HPA popped.

When you put up that much power, you consume a gigantic freq spectrum, essentially drowning out other missions. Some of which are carrying some pretty critical data. Think approved jamming, from your higher command. What was hilarious was the shrieking coming from behind that dude, when the shift NCO caught his mistake. Our end had been waiting for over two minutes, telling the young PFC we HAD to be knocking the sat outta orbit with our shot. Who were we to argue though? :dv
