My wife and I are stopping overnight in Stuttgart on our way to Louisiana. Looking for a restaurant recommendation. Thanks in advance.

When traveling, I stick to basics that are unlikely to generate gastrointestinal excitement at some random mile marker or lonely highway. No Kung Pao Chicken or Atomic wings for the the boogman on the road (or in waders).

Thus, my recommendations follow my own truth............the Grill House for a cheesburger and fries, the onion rings aren't for me, the fries are great.

Mexican..........Mr. Pancho, get the chicken fajitas, or chicken anything, tacos, etc. Don't get the red sauce for anything, way crazy spicy. My brother goes with the beef side of the menu, and enjoys it. I've never had a bad bite of anything there.

If you want something more familiar, the new Pizza Hut is shiny clean and putting out pretty darn good pie.

I never bring my wife to Stuttgart, so I never eat with a cloth napkin, thus I don't know where those joints are.

Since you are there for the night, take her to Wild Life (think that's the name now). Can get dinner, drinks, live music and dancing.

Menu online for Open Season looks good...Wild Life has good reviews, thought for sure it was going to be a strip club. Thanks for the replies.
