Those of you who are retriever enthusiasts will appreciate that the annual event for the Best of the Best Retrievers/gundogs is being held once again in Huntsville, Alabama.
The event is going to be attended by several Georgia based pro dog trainers to compete for the prize money and to qualify for the Crown Championship held in May. The event will also feature the Dock Dog and the Alabama State Duck Calling Championship as well as a DU Banquet.

Watch Stephen Durrence from Sylvania attempt to retain the Title with 7 x GRHRCH Big Black Dude II MH and BOBO and watch Jerry Day from Moreland, GA try and make a comeback with his dogs, it will be fun.

I am headed over there after a combo Pheasant and Duck hunt at a NE Alabama Hunting Preserve and to do some scouting for ducks on nearby Lake Guntersville.

Here is a link to the SRS WEbsite, or you can Google it by inputing Super Retriever Series and navigate to the message board for details.

Stephen Durrence-Taylor Farm Kennels-Sylvania, GA won the Pro Divison again this year at this prestigious and highly competitive retriever Competition.

Stephen won, by handling 3 times SRS winner & 7 x Grand Hunting Retriever Champion Big Black Dude II MH. This Dynamic Duo was able to overcome a highly competive crowd of over 90 dogs to take home the trophy, $5,000 Cash and the Blue Ribbon.

Congrats to Stephen & Dude for a job well done!
