Looking for clubs, groups, or just people interested in doing some dog training in Southwestern Wisconsin.

I have a 12 week old Lab, and would like to get together with some people in the spring/summer to do some training with to make sure he's ready to go for next fall.

If you're saving this thread for later use, I'll throw my name in the hat. Also have 70 acres of which 10 or so is good for training.

Me and Elvis are always ready to travel and train.
    We are old though!

I have a whole pile of training junk.

We also love to trout fish that area.

Kurt Turner is from Platteville. You could give him a call at 608-348-6789. He is a pro training mostly young dogs for FT's and HT's. Probably would be a good source of info. Tell him Jerry sent you.

Where are you from? And older is not a bad thing, as long as you're willing to put up with, and maybe pass on some experience to the younger and less experienced, both in trainer and dog.

    Thanks.

I did. Checked out their web site, and sent them an e-mail as it looks like it might be a good group with some organized trainings. Which would be beneficial for both myself and my pup.

Saving this for when he gets a little older after we've got the obedience down and he's ready to start doing some retrieve training.

Want to train him for specifically hunting, but hoping to maybe run him in a few tests as well when he's older.

    Thanks
