In the "If your friends cant laugh with you its just no fun" category!

Finally had a shot Saturday at 3 public land does! Whiffed it from inside of 10yards! Then thinking I'd hit the first doe, didn't want to get greedy and take the "suicide" shot on the 2nd doe @ 15 yards. Checked the bow on Sunday, can only assume that I was taking the vertical distance into account and that watching them come in for 30 minutes had completely whacked me out!

Practice shooting from a tree stand. It is a little different and it will really help your confidence.

Took me 4 yrs with a few whiffs(even with a gun) before it finally came together. Don't let it effect you EVERBODY misses.

If possible, sight your bow in from a stand. You'd be suprised how much things can change from 15yds and closer.

And don't worry, we've all missed :yes

It's the second best shot you'll ever make --- a complete miss!
Of course we all want a double lung shot and a quick kill the result. But, sometimes bad things happen. A little off on your shot and you might have a gut shot deer. If the arrow isn't in the kill zone, a miss is the next best thing!

What the other guys said, practice from a stand, it's different.

Try bending at your waist when you shoot. When you're on the ground your elbow, back hand, front hand (to a degree) are in line. When you're in a tree you tend to just drop your front hand and now everything is out of line, when you bend at the waist you keep your same fundamental alignment.
