I would take some vets. to Reelfoot Lake TN this year. My son is going to deploy to Iraq Sept. 21. He has already talking about missing duck season. Our blind is located at Walnut Log. We are at the point of the federal refuge. Other words you can spit in it if the wind is just right. Christmas on is the best time. I do some guiding but will fit vets in.

By the way; this offer is open to Reservists/National Guardsmen as well. Its usually tougher for the active guys to hunt but The part time guys are a huge part if not the majority of the troops in Iraq/Afghanistan as well.

Richard, If you are up for it I would love to get a group of you Navy guys down Astoria way for a great duck hunt. I can furnish everything guns included except waders. I'll even help out on the license's for those single gus in the barrack's. I am retired Navy myself and the time I spent in Bermerton and Bangor is what made me fall in love with this area. So if you can find two or three set it up. I'll drag the RV down and we will do it up. Best to set it up for a Fri/Sat/Sun?? The week before or after the 1st of Nov.
