I usually see some opening day of dove season flying down the river, finding them a week later is another story.

Saw a small bunch Mon. morning at our club and tons of shore birds. The duck numbers show 13 million teal, should make for a good teal season and lots of teal during the early part of regular duck season.

We need rain here in MO! Put a little more water in the marshes and it will be another good teal season!

Sgt. Duck………….with regular duck season not kicking off until the first Saturday in November do you think many blue wings will remain? The green wings should definitely be around but guessing many of our blue wing friends will have since left for Mexico :)

Never know with the mild weather we have had over the past couple of years……….could be 80 degrees on the November opener!!!!

Good to hear there are a few starting to trickle in. We plan to start catching a little "free water" soon (if we get some meaningful rain in NW Missouri) and will begin pumping our impoundment Labor Day weekend in prep for the early Teal opener. Corn will be around 110 days by then so should be in good shape.

    Good luck.
