You roll some good ammo Joe, if you don't want it, I'll buy it.

It looks like it is going to go out like it came in for me. Hot and miserable. Was hoping for one decent blue wing shoot but not counting on it with this weekend weather coming up. I'm headed to farm Saturday evening and will give it a quick go Sunday morning but with temps projected in the mid 80's it will be a quick one. Maybe the cooler weather being predicted up North will push a few of the little birds down to us. That is my glass half full optimistic view but likely a false one. Oh well, big ducks will be here before you know it and still lots of work to do to get the grounds prepared!!!!

    Good luck.

They were definitely here this morning (NW Missouri). We had birds all over us from before sun up until we finished 40 minutes after shooting time. Was certainly not expecting this but someone mentioned may have pushed ahead of the cold front that hit up North this weekend. Literally birds flying non stop up until almost 10am. Glad we decided to sneak down for the last day. Bring on the big ducks!!!!!

I went out Saturday am in St. Charles, and saw 3 on the other side of the slough before shooting time. Nary a bird after that. They're probably landing on top of each other in that same spot today with this front. Grrrrr.

Yep, ive had teal in my decoys all week. One day there was at least 60 of them just relaxing. I figure they think those decoys are stuck up snobs that won't talk to them.
