I remember that some guys thought that the Testor's spray cans of flat clear, was better than the Krylon flat I had been using.
I'm going to be in need of some, if I could get info on where I can order some from on line.
I live very remote, so 'going shopping' in a larger city is not an option.
I will need to order it by phone or off a computer.

    Thanks -----Ringbill

I bought a can to try on something through Amazon but haven't given it a shot, yet. Comes in such small quantities that I can't imagine doing much with it.

Google Testor's Dull Cote. Yes, it comes in small aerosol cans, which makes it pricey compared to Krylon. But, it's far better than Krylon, so you get what you pay for. I can coat 4 or 5 mallard-sized decoys with a can. It doesn't take much; remember, it's a flattener, not intended as a protective coat.

I'm not sure that I need a flattener.
I really want the protective coat over the paint.
Maybe I just need to find a place that carries or can order Krylon flat for me. (I've moved since I bought my last bunch.)

You'll need a flattener if you coat your decoys with Krylon.

I see that they offer both the new Krylon as well as the Rustoleum dead flat.
I'm going to try the Rustoleum.

Disagree. I've used 2 light coats of Krylon flat or Valspar flat and had no shine issues.

Maybe we have varying definitions of what "flat" is. I've never been satisfied with Krylon's degree of "flatness".
