Testor's flat clear spray

    Very well could be. Personally I don't care about a tiny bit of shine as I've never seen it make a difference.

    I think you're right; a tiny amount of sheen doesn't matter.

    The Krylon has worked ok for me, but I just ordered some of Rustoleum's dead flat clear & I'll give it a try.

    Schmedlin would argue that a whole lotta sheen doesn't matter.

    Krylon Flat guy here, never had an issue with it. There is a huge difference in the flat as opposed to the matte or satin.

    Rustoleum's dead flat is not flat at all,, dullcoat works great,,, I wanna try krylon flat

    Also, I honestly think the Krylon and the Valspar clear flat are the same finish in different cans. Both work exactly the same from what I've experienced.

    Sure sorry to hear that about the Rustoleum.
    I just ordered a bunch.
    Normally They have excellent products, IMO.
