My husband and I left Wednesday at 2 for a hunt on Friday in Dillon MT. We got back Sunday at noon and the meat is already over to Freedom Meat Lockers. Steve got his deer in the first 5-10 minutes... me, I was still trying to find the deer thru my scope... realized after that I had it set to 14 or 16 power, which I then turned down to 6 power... My bad, I was clueless about the operation..lol I didn't have another chance but killing a deer would have just been the icing on the cake.

We went up to a buddys place in Butte for Thanksgiving dinner, spent the night and drove back down to Dillon for some mulie hunting.

It was one of the most amazing trips of my life time. I'd never been deer hunting and although I didn't kill anything, the experience of just being there and hiking those mountains is amazing. I'll be going back next year for sure! 2200 miles on the truck from Wednesday to Sunday and loved every minute of it.
