Print & Broadcast news is all gotten from the same sources: The Associated Press & Reuters.

    That's too broad a generalization.

Most people don't even realize that CNN doesn't have foreign correspondents anymore.

You mean like the liberal New York Times, the liberal Washington Post, the grossly-left Huffington Post, etc?

Regarding the original post, a large number of print media with a vary large circulation ran with the UVA story as fact, much as they did with the "hands up, don't shoot" baloney.

Liberals pushing an agenda disguised as news...

That's a great point. What will be interesting, and more of a litmus text, is to see if they do that again in the future when Rolling Stone puts out a hot topic piece. Although I'm not sure of the context in which the topic was originally presented by the pick up journals.

The real sin surrounding this, is that the U.S. is supposed to have a "free press". People free of government (or any other) influence left free to report facts objectively. This is a founding bastion for this country. Other countries have entire populations that would kill/die for this freedom we were GIVEN.

Instead, we have a growing group of partisan "journalists" willing to pimp themselves off to further political causes that insult the purity & concept of a free press.

Idiots behind a desk...dealing in political satire are masquerading as "journalists" promoting extreme positions. When they come under fire they simply fall back to their defensive position as "entertainers" and not true "journalists". Still...the vast volume of vacuum-headed, low info. voters out there see them as soothsayers...and the Rachel Maddow's of the world do little to discourage this.

They didn't learn from the Duke lacrosse case. Why would we expect them to "learn" from the UVA case? It isn't about journalism to the left. It's about pushing an agenda, facts be damned.

I will give the WaPo credit for breaking the holes in the UVA story, but not before they fell for the original lie and used it to promote the "privileged white males are evil" angle.

Don't forget John Stewart or John Oliver - comedians delivering the news. I find them both to be very funny!

In the case of Oliver - he recently interviewed Edward Snowden:

    The interview starts at 13:40.

Rachel Maddow gets more women than any man I know.

Chris Haynes gets more men than any women I know.

Both are like listening to nails on a chalkboard.

"In a previous generation, RS would have been flooded with subscriptions...". The only thing Rolling Stone has ever been flooded with are rolling papers.
Read Rolling Stone for music and entertainment news, not news reports.

If, as you say, "no one" considers Fox real news, how do you explain they`re voted the "Most Trusted" news program on cable?

    Typical Liberal.
