The hunt today

    Finally in a free state.
    Was hoping for a big duck day, but they were few and far between. There were, however, plenty of teal where I was so they filled in for the missing mallards. While I was sitting in the tules my dog decided it would be a great idea to jump into the Cabela's sled. Those things are great for floating gear around, but they don't hold up a yellow lab, so everything I had ended up drowned. I'll sure be glad when the dog stand arrives, and I'm certain he will be too. :lRegardless, on the pup's second ever hunt we managed our first limit as South Dakota residents. :tu
